Yesterday, AOL released the search logs of over 650,000 users for 'research purposes'. This was done without any permission from the people involved, making it a privacy nightmare for the people involved. Social Security numbers, names, addresses, everything pretty much that could be used to identify these people was put for all eyes to see on the net.
